On May 11, 2022, Wojciech Kapica conducted a workshop on international sanctions in the practice of financial institutions. The training began with an overview of sanctions legislation (US, UK, EU) in connection with the war in Ukraine. Later, Mr. Kapica discussed the application of sanctions on the basis of guidelines and orders from the Wolfsberg Group. He also touched upon the practical aspects of freezing and withholding assets by financial institutions. The workshop was organized by the The Institute of Compliance, mainly for entities in the financial sector.
