As one of the pioneers of the legal aspects of blockchain technology in Poland, Wojciech supports companies in implementing innovations. He helps them meet regulatory requirements and minimize legal risks associated with digital assets and tokenization. He supports both funds investing in Web3 and DeFi, as well as blockchain infrastructure developers. He assists in licensing operations, ensuring compliance with MiCA regulations, and developing legal strategies for tokenization and cryptocurrency projects.
Experience
He gained professional experience in prestigious organizations, combining legal advice with a practical approach to business. As a partner at Brillaw Law Firm, he oversaw investment transactions, advised investment funds on structuring investments, and secured the interests of investors and founders.
In his role as Head of Legal at CobinAngels (the largest community of Business Angels in Poland), he was responsible not only for the legal aspects of investment processes, but also for negotiating the terms of contracts and ensuring regulatory compliance of transactions.
His work focuses on legal advisory in the blockchain area. As Legal Counsel at Golem Factory, he was in charge of legal and regulatory risk management for one of the world’s first decentralized supercomputers running on the Ethereum network. Working with international teams, he developed legal strategies for emerging technologies, including Web3, DeFi, and asset tokenization.
Having worked with funds, technology startups, and fintech companies for many years, he combines a legal perspective with an in-depth understanding of market realities. He supports clients not only in licensing digital asset service providers but also in aligning companies with rapidly changing regulations, such as MiCA regulations.
Wojciech has advised on several major projects, offering comprehensive transactional and investment support. He has extensive experience in cross-border transactions, particularly in major markets in Europe and North America.
His advice also includes law for DeFi platforms, legal strategies for Web3, and effective legal risk management in international market operations. In addition, as a speaker and panelist at industry events, he shares his knowledge of the legal aspects of blockchain investments and new technologies.
