MiCA is increasingly moving from the level of regulatory assumptions into everyday market practice, raising very concrete questions for entrepreneurs. During the event “Between EU regulations and national practice: What about MiCA in Poland?”, organized by  Blockchain Girls & Superteam Poland, Wojciech Ługowski had the opportunity to open a discussion on how the new regulations are actually affecting business operations in Poland.

The discussions clearly showed that the greatest challenge is not the wording of the regulation itself, but its application within the domestic context. For many entities in the crypto, fintech, and blockchain sectors, key issues today revolve around interpretation, the pace of compliance, and the predictability of the regulator’s actions.

A major strength of the meeting was the opportunity to confront the legal perspective with the experiences of entrepreneurs and technology teams who build digital asset–based products and services on a daily basis. Without such dialogue, it is difficult to speak of regulations that genuinely support innovation.
